Mediacom Communications is building a nationwide fiber optic infrastructure in order to bundle all three services easier. Cable TV
Mediacom Communications offers a few different cable packages that come with more than 200 channels. Their family cable plan has a broad variety of channels suitable for the whole family. They also have a digital cable plan with even more channels like music choice channels and on demand and pay-per-view movies. A sports package includes the all college sports channel CSTV, Fox College Sports, GOL TV, a channel dedicated to international soccer matches, the Tennis Channel, the Sportsman Channel, ESPN U and more. Optional HDTV and DVR upgrades are also available.
Internet
Mediacom has two Internet offerings: Mediacom Online Max and Mediacom Online Intro. The Intro package has download speeds up to 3 Mbps and is suitable for light web browsing an email. The Max package has download speeds up to 20 Mbps and is suitable for media streaming, online gaming, and more. Both packages can be bundled with cable TV and phone services.
Phone
Mediacom uses a type of VoIP service to connect phone calls through a private broadband network. Phone packages include popular calling features like caller ID, call forwarding, call waiting, three-way calling, and more. Users have the option to get their phone number on the unlisted/non-published directory listing. Other additional optional features include voicemail forwarding to an email inbox, additional outlet installation, and more.
