About the Company
Bright House Networks® is the seventh largest cable TV provider in the United States. Founded in 1993 and headquareted in Syracuse, NY, Bright House Networks offers cable TV, Internet and phone services to customers in five states and several cities—they are main service provider in the Tampa and Orlando Florida markets.
In some areas of service, Bright House Networks uses the same infrastructure put in place and once owned by Time Warner Cable, though the companies are no longer connected. These are primarily the markets in the Florida area. In addition to their cable TV, Internet and phone services, Bright House Networks also owns and operates two regional local news channels in the Tampa and Orlando Florida markets.
Services
Cable TV
Bright House Networks offers standard and digital cable plans. The standard is cheaper and comes with more than 70 channels. The digital package has more than 200 channels and comes with the bells and whistles associated with digital cable, like movies on demand, optional DVR services, music channels and more.
Bright House Network’s digital cable package offers hundreds of HD channels through an HD receiver. They also offer a new 3D Pass that includes 3D channels like, ESPN 3D and 3D on demand movies. Additional optional channels like ESPN GamePlan, HBO, Starz, ShowTime, CineMax, and others are available as well. Bright House Networks also has exclusive local channels in the Tampa and Orlando Florida markets, like news stations and games for local teams like the Orlando Magic.
Internet
Bright House Networks offers three Internet plans using Road Runner broadband Internet. These plans include Road Runner Standard, with download speeds up to 10 Mbps, Road Runner Turbo with download speeds up to 20 Mbps, and Road Runner Lightning with download speeds up to 40 Mbps.
Phone
Digital phone services, like many cable providers, can be bundled with the cable and Internet services on offer from Bright House Networks. Phone plans include an unlimited nationwide plan offering unlimited calling to anyone across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada; An unlimited Florida plan offering unlimited calling to anyone in the state of Florida; and an international long distance plan with reduced rates for several dozen countries.

Bright House Networks provides services in five states, and several areas in those states, including Tampa Bay and Orlando, Florida; Bakersfield, California; Indianapolis, Indiana; Detroit, Michigan; and Birmingham, Alabama; along with several other smaller regions in Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
